Of all things Blizzard (a tier 2 weapon) is a popular support option used to considerably slow down the opposing stickmen before they make little to any progress. Depending on the weapon the magician can be offensive, supportive, or it can push anything with less range than it into the corner of the screen to be shocked to death. The magician can increase their range with an investment in STR. Instead of just a single viable weapon the magician has many different options, each with different strategies. Recommended builds: Pure LP, Sonic Cestus with Black Crystal 7 and Vampire’s Card 4 Sonic Cestus also deals splash damage which increases how much healing Vampire's Card 4 does. Boxer is better than magician in my opinion because it counters snipers better while magician is better at countering boxers. The majority of vs mode boxers function as a shield and they typically excel at it. The goal of the boxer in vs mode is not necessarily to obliterate the other team but to tank hits that you don’t want your other stickmen taking. With a High STR investment the sniper can bring destruction across the entire screen. Because this shoots multiple projectiles it can be paired with a Bullet’s Card 5 to boost each shot to 8 arrows. This is by far the best weapon in the game. Sniper: To be honest if you are a vs mode sniper you have no excuse not to use the insanely overpowered Double Hell Fire bow. If there are multiple priests on a team a Staff of Icicle with a Catapult’s Card 7 and an Aquamarine 7 can help slow the opposing team but the lack of Black Crystal 7 can make the priest more vulnerable to Double Hell Fire arrows and other attacks in general. This nearly maximizes the STR buff while the Black Crystal 7 helps keep the priest alive. Recommended builds: Pure STR Long Gold Rod with Red Stone 7 + Black Crystal 7. The minimum vs mode LP bonus does not matter too much because the priest functions the best in the back of the party anyway. If this buff wasn’t enough, multiple priest’s can stack the damage buff if teammates are in range of both of the priest. The very severe weakness that the priest may have in attack power and speed is irrelevant when a maximum STR investment can improve the rest of the team’s damage output by 196% and a Red Stone 7 can increase this by another 40%. The priest deals very little damage by itself but its real strength shines by how much it buffs the rest of the team. Priest: This stickman is a classic example of a support class.
